MaineHealth is seeking a Surgical Technologist II for the Operating Room in Biddeford, ME. This full-time, day shift role involves preparing for surgical procedures and supporting staff and students in the OR.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology required.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology required.
  • License/Certifications: Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required within three months of start date or at discretion of Director for positions at MMC. Certification preferred at SMHC. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience: One year of experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Surgical Technologist I role.
