Qualifications

• Three years of Surgical Technologist experience in an operating room.
• Certification through approved accreditation body as required by the state.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Computer literacy and professional organization membership.

Responsibilities

• Assist in procedures, provide intraoperative care, arrange and pass instruments.
• Handle equipment and supplies safely during surgeries.
• Prepare surgical suite and assist in patient movement and cleaning.
• Assist exposure, hemostasis, and other technical tasks under surgeon guidance.
• Participate in ongoing education and complete assigned goals.
