Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program (required).
• Ability to assist in sterile procedures and maintain a safe environment.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing surgical sites and equipment according to surgeon preferences.
• Practicing aseptic techniques, including scrubbing, gowning, gloving, and draping.
• Participating in surgical protocols such as Time and Out, and verifying correct site and specimen handling.
• Maintaining accurate supply counts, reporting concerns, and ensuring adherence to policies and standards of care.
• Supporting patient care coordination and following universal protocols to ensure safety and efficiency.
