Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist with aseptic technique knowledge.
• Experience in intra-operative scrub and instrument handling.
• Ability to follow surgeon preferences and patient care variables.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competent technical skills and performs scrub functions related to the entra-operative phase.
• Demonstrates knowledge of procedures during the inter-operative phase with aseptic technique.
• Assists with preparation of the surgical suite.
• Contributes to division, hospital, and department goals.
• Performs sponge, needle and instrument count.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
