Summary:
This is a Monday-Friday day shift position (4-10 hour shifts with 1 flexible day off). Closed Major Holidays. No weekends and no on-call requirement past 2300.
The Scarborough Surgery Center provides care to patients of all ages, requiring procedures such as but not limited to Total Joint Replacement, Robotics, Neuro, ENT, Ortho, GYN/GU. The center is designed around the comfort of patients requiring surgeries that may require an overnight stay. This freestanding, 59,000-SF outpatient surgical center is set on a remote campus and includes:
10 operating rooms
31 pre- and post-op rooms
The Surgical Technologist I - MMCP role is involved in preparing the operating room and instruments, equipment, and supplies as well as passing instruments, sponges, and sutures to surgeons.
