Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of Surgical Technology or 5 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Preferred hospital and/or surgical technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with perioperative patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Perform technical and supportive functions to aid care during the perioperative phase.
• Follow hospital/departmental standards, policies, protocols and procedures.

Job Summary A member of the CoxHealth Surgery Center team who functions under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and performs a variety of technical and supportive functions to assist with the care of the patient throughout their perioperative phase of hospitalization utilizing hospital/departmental standards, policies, protocols and procedures.

Job Requirements

Education

• Required: Graduate from a school of Surgical Technology or 5 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist

Experience

• Preferred: Previous hospital and/or work experience as a Surgical Technologist
