Job summary

CoxHealth operates the Surgery Center in Springfield, Missouri, seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the OR team. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, you will perform technical and supportive functions to assist with patient care throughout the perioperative phase according to hospital standards and procedures.

Education required: graduate from school of Surgical Technology or equivalent five years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of Surgical Technology or 5 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care throughout the perioperative phase under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Perform technical and supportive functions to support the care of the patient in the operating room.
• Adhere to hospital standards, policies, and procedures during perioperative care.
