Arkansas Children's is seeking a Surgical Technologist I to join the Outpatient Surgery team. This full-time role supports the operating room by preparing instrumentation, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting the RN and surgeon during procedures.
Responsibilities include performing surgical counts, assisting with case turnover, and ensuring patient safety throughout the operation. A high school diploma or GED is required; CST certification is preferred.

A Surgical Technologist I under the direction of the surgeon and RN, assists in the preparation, set-up, and completion of the surgical procedure. They maintain strict adherence to the principles of sterile technique and continually monitor the sterile field to ensure its integrity. The Surgical Technologist I provides safe and effective care for the patients in surgery and commonly participates in procedures for patients from newborn to adult with conditions requiring surgical intervention.
High school diploma or GED or equivalent
Associate's Degree in a related field of study.
High School Diploma/GED, or 2 years of experience in lieu of a diploma/GED.
