Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the GU/GYN/Transplant Team to support our fast-paced operating rooms. This on-site role requires preparing the OR, assisting surgeons, and ensuring readiness for complex procedures in a Level 1 trauma setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Technologist program Required
• Two (2) years of Surgical Technologist experience may be considered in lieu of completion of a Surgical Technologist Program

Job Description

Work Schedule:

Full-time, 100% FTE, day/evening shift. Monday – Friday between the hours of 6:40am – 6:00pm. Evening and night rotations required based on operational needs. This position also includes an on-call requirement for weekday, weekend and holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay:

This position may be eligible for up to a $15,000sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of Surgical Technologist experience may be considered in lieu of completion of a Surgical Technologist Program

Work Experience

• Completion of a Surgical Technologist program Preferred
• 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Basic Life Support/CPR certification within 6 months Required
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Preferred
