Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking a Surgical Technologist for full-time work at the Ocean Springs location. Responsibilities include managing instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting in room prep.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required; accredited Surgical Technologist program preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification upon hire/transfer.
• Must have de-escalation training completed by end of orientation (90 days).
• Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle instruments, supplies and equipment during surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and assist in room preparation before surgery.
• Ensure all items required for the surgical table are available.
• Adhere to hospital procedures, policies and accreditation standards.
