Job description

Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain sterile fields, connect patients to equipment, assist with treatments, manage supplies, verify surgical sites, handle specimens, change dressings, and participate in patient admission, discharge, and emergency procedures.

Key Duties: Ensure aseptic techniques, participate in surgical timeouts and briefings, maintain documentation, perform quality control, act as preceptor for students, and support additional tasks like specimen collection and patient transport.

Qualifications & Skills: Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (or exemption under specific laws), graduate from a Specialty Training Program, and adherence to policies and protocols.
