Landmark Surgery Center in Missouri is hiring a Full Time Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, you will scrub for procedures and ensure supplies, instruments, and equipment are ready.

We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits as part of the USPI family; you will work in an ambulatory surgery setting with a focus on value, integrity, and community.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Ability to adapt to changing condition of the patient.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff and physicians.

As a Surg Tech, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients, while upholding our core beliefs of value, integrity, continuity, accessibility, and community engagement.

Surgical Technologist at Landmark Surgery Center

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians
