You will scrub for procedures, prepare and maintain supplies, and support the surgical team to uphold our commitment to value, integrity, continuity, and community care.

The role requires a surgical technician program completion, strong knowledge of procedures, aseptic technique, and excellent teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program.
• Previous ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff, patients, and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures under RN supervision.
• Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments, and equipment.

As a Surg Tech, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients, while upholding our core beliefs of value, integrity, continuity, accessibility, and community engagement.

Surgical Technologist at Landmark Surgery Center

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians
