Sanford Health in North Dakota is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Family Birth Center team. You will assist the surgeon during procedures, prepare and organize instruments, and help maintain sterile fields and patient safety throughout operatives.

The schedule is 36 hours per week with a mix of day and night shifts; a $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants who commit to the term. NBSTSA certification is preferred, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing UAP Registry at start of employment.
• NBSTSA certification preferred, new grads welcome with or without certification.

Work Shift: Rotating (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 Compensation: Salary Range: $24.00 - $38.50 Non-certified techs will start at $24/hour, certified techs will start at $25.50/hour and increase based on years of applicable work experience. $15,000 sign-on bonus available for eligible applicants with a two year work commitment. The Family Birth Center specializes in operations such as C-sections, hysterectomies, D&C's, cerclage placement and removal, and assisting with vaginal deliveries.

Schedule is 36 hours/week which would include a mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts throughout the week consisting of 2 weeks of days, and 4 weeks of nights, with the potential for that to be split half and half. 12-hour shifts: Day shifts are from 6:30am-7pm and night shifts are from 6:30pm-7am, which includes your 30-minute break. Schedule is set for 6 weeks at a time. This position would cover every third weekend and every other holiday. No on-call. You will typically work together with another surg tech during your shift as our goal is to staff 2 on each shift every day. One surg tech acts as the scrub tech and the other surg tech 1st assists. As you gain experience, you have the opportunity to advance your skills on the unit as the first assist with the provider.

Qualifications Position requirements

• A graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry at the time employment begins.
• National certification preferred through the NBSTSA, but not required. New grads are welcome to apply with or without certification.
