Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Surgical Technologist Certificate required at hire.
• Knowledge of sterile core area and sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Complies with shift, unit and organizational policies and procedures including reliability and attendance standards.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and organizational records (HIPAA).
• Promotes collaboration with the health care team and professional interaction.
• Maintains a well organized sterile area and supports room turnovers and reprocessing.
