Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND seeks a Surgical Technologist to join our OR team. You will assist surgeons during procedures, prep and organize instruments and supplies, and anticipate the needs of the surgical team.

We offer a 40-hour work week with evening shifts, a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants, and opportunities for advancement. New grads are welcome to apply and join a large, not‑for‑profit health system dedicated to care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing UAP Registry at start of employment.
• NBSTSA certification preferred but not required; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the surgeon during surgical procedures, including preparing and organizing operating room instruments and supplies.
• Anticipate the surgeon's needs during a procedure.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Compensation: Salary Range: $24.00 - $38.50

$15,000 sign-on bonus available for eligible applicants with a two year work commitment. Non-certified techs will start at $24/hour, certified techs will start at $25.50/hour and increase based on years of applicable work experience

Department Details We are a 16 bed OR on two floors, providing care for adult and pediatric surgical patients. We support surgical cases within a wide range of surgical specialties including: General, Trauma, Bariatrics, Urology, Gynecology, Robotics, Cardiovascular, Plastics, Ear-Nose-Throat, Oral, Pediatric, Neuro, Peripheral Vascular and Pediatric and Adult Orthopedic Trauma.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1pm-9:30pm, no call.
