UR Medicine Thompson Health in Canandaigua, NY is seeking a part-time Surgical Scrub Tech to support the operating room team on Saturdays and Sundays (7am–7:30pm) with 24 hours per week and rotating holiday call. Pay range is $26.75–$34.00 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements include National Surgical Technology certification or NYS LPN license, BLS certification, and prior scrub experience preferred. Days orientation on 7am–3:30pm for the first several months may be required.

Qualifications

• National Surgical Technology certification or NYS LPN license required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Prior surgical scrub experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the sterile environment for each case and assist the surgeon and first assistant.
• Be an active member of the surgical team and maintain instrument availability.
• Clear the Operating Room efficiently after the case to ensure safety and readiness for the next procedure.
• Provide high-quality perioperative care based on current research and quality improvements.
