Trinity Health Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, MI seeks a Surgical Technologist to support sterile technique in the Operating Room. Day shift, full-time with 80 hours per pay period, on-call; join a team performing gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general, ENT, podiatry, plastics and spine surgeries.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certified surgical technologist program.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes sterile technique, maintains a sterile field, and passes instruments to surgeons.
• Anticipates surgeon needs with knowledge of procedures and anatomy.
• Supports operating room team during gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general, ENT, podiatry, plastics and spine surgeries.
