Job summary

Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo, WI is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our team. This role collaborates with the surgical team to ensure safe patient passage through procedures.

Full-time or .8 FTE with day shift and call/holiday rotation. The candidate will assist with preparing supplies and equipment, and support education for staff and students in a dynamic perioperative setting. Qualifications

• Knowledge of aseptic technique, surgical standards, procedures, and instrumentation.
• Graduation from a Surgical Technologist program required.
• Certification is encouraged but not required.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe passage of patients through surgery.
• Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, assist during pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.
• Plan and organize supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Promote education of self, peers, and students.
