Live Well Homecare is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support procedures, prepare ORs, and maintain sterile technique. You will work within interdisciplinary teams, ensure correct site identification, and contribute to patient care throughout perioperative stages.

This full-time role involves day shifts (10-hour), on-call duties, and opportunities for growth with benefits starting day one.

Formación

• Current CST certification or eligible under relevant legislation.
• Graduate from a specialty training program.
• Strong understanding of aseptic techniques, surgical procedures, and patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Assist surgeons with procedures across all ages and coordinate treatments with interdisciplinary teams.
• Prepare operating rooms, connect clinical equipment, and ensure correct surgical site identification.
• Maintain sterile environment, track supplies, verify specimen collection, and dispose of sharps safely.
• Assess wounds, change sterile dressings, and participate in patient admission, discharge, and emergency responses.
• Perform billing, participate in on-call rotations, act as a preceptor, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Conduct quality control, assist with specimen handling, patient transport, and post-mortem care.

Role:

Surgical Technologist responsible for assisting during surgical procedures, ensuring aseptic techniques, preparing patients and instruments, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons with procedures across all ages and coordinate treatments with interdisciplinary teams.
