Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program.
• Certification through the NBSTA or ability to obtain it within a year.
• CPR/BLS certification and annual validation required.
• Knowledge of various surgical procedures, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to anticipate surgeon’s needs and recognize operative issues.
• Understanding of aseptic principles, patient safety, and emergency procedures.
