About Your Team:

Bailey Medical Center offers a full range of medical services, including general surgery, maternity, gynecology, bariatrics, orthopedics, and emergency care. The 73-bed hospital is one of the most technologically advanced in the region.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care under the supervision of the Physician and Registered Nurse.
• Select, assemble, test, and operate equipment and instruments following policies and procedures.
• Perform as a primary scrub tech during surgical procedures and deliveries, maintaining sterile technique.
• Handle sterile table and room turnover after procedures.
• Perform additional patient care tasks as assigned by the RN.
• Contribute to patient outcomes by adhering to policies, procedures, and standards.
• Respond to on-call duties with a 30-minute response time.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Tech
• Basic Life Support certification

Preferred Requirements:

• One year of Labor and Delivery Surgical Tech experience
