Hillcrest Hospital South is a full-service 180-bed hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. The hospital is nationally recognized for patient safety.

Responsibilities

• The in-house traveler commits to up to a 12-week assignment, scheduled at least 36 hours per week or 72 hours per pay period.
• Accepts unit, location, and shift assignments by Hillcrest Hospital South, understanding that these may change during the assignment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of sterile technique, sterilization procedures, surgical principles, anatomy, physiology, and the use and care of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assists the surgical team in providing surgical care.
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and outcomes.
• Understands the surgery schedule workflow and is available for room turnovers, patient transport, and cleaning.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Current valid and unrestricted Certified Surgical Tech certification from the NBSTSA.
• Active BLS certification.
• Minimum of one year of recent hospital experience in the relevant area (within the last 2 years).
