About Hillcrest Hospital South

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of sterile technique, sterilization procedures, surgical principles, anatomy and physiology, and the use and care of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assist the surgical team in executing the surgical care plan.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and desired outcomes.
• Understand the surgery schedule workflow and be available for room turnovers, patient transport, and cleaning.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Possess or be willing to obtain an accredited Surgical Technologist Certification within six months of employment
• Active BLS certification
