Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a day shift, full-time position in Claremore, OK. The role supports operating room procedures and patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technology Program.
• High School diploma or GED.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire.
• One year of Surgical Technology experience (preferred).
• Certified Surgical Technologist through the NBSTSA or NCCT (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and work closely with the circulating nurse.
• Terminally clean the operating room after each procedure and restock supplies.
• Under the direction of a registered nurse, carry out all scrub duties as outlined in the department procedure manual.
• Create and maintain a sterile field and provide instruments to the surgeon.

Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA/NCCT)

High School diploma or GED

BLS certification

Surgical Technology program completion

One year of Surgical Technology experience
