This full-time position includes a sign-on bonus based on your eligibility and experience.

Experience Requirements:

• 0-1 Years Of Experience: 2-year commitment, $10,000; 3-year commitment, $12,000
• 1-2 Years Of Experience: 2-year commitment, $10,000; 3-year commitment, $17,000
• 2+ years of experience: 2-year commitment, $15,000; 3-year commitment, $25,000

General Overview:

Performs direct and indirect technical tasks for patients before, during, and after surgical interventions.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Initiates changes to physician preference list and ensures team awareness. (25%)
2. Maintains inventory for the assigned service area. (20%)
3. Performs sponge, needle, and instrument count. (15%)
4. Orients new team members and directs lower-level technicians. (15%)
5. Assists in setting up the surgical suite with instruments and supplies. (15%)
6. Scrubs in and hands physician instruments during surgery. (10%)
7. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

• One year certificate from a college or technical school; or related experience; or equivalent education/experience.
• Surgical Technologist (ST) hired after 12/29/2020 must complete a recognized Surgical Technologist program and maintain certification within 6 months.
• CPR – American Heart Association.

Preferred:

• 3 years surgical scrub experience.
