Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support OR procedures within the HCA Healthcare network. The role involves preparing supplies, positioning patients, draping, and maintaining a sterile field while assisting surgeons.

Ideal candidates will have CST certification, graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program, and hold BCLS certification; preferred: 3+ years OR scrub experience.

Qualifications

• American Heart Association BCLS required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist required.
• Preferred: Minimum of three years OR scrub experience; CST

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Surgical Tech prepares for procedures by selecting necessary equipment and supplies. The Surgical Tech assists with patient positioning, confirms the procedure with the surgeon, and drapes the patient according to guidelines. During surgery, The Surgical Tech maintains the sterile field and provides effective tissue retraction for optimal visualization. The Surgical Tech also supports emergency responses in the operating room and performs additional surgeon‑directed tasks while demonstrating required department‑specific competencies.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program required
• American Heart Association BCLS required
• Certified Surgical Technologist required
• Preferred: Minimum of three years OR scrub experience; Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
