Surgical Technologist (variable FTE) - Bozeman

Req: 9046

Shift: Varies

Employment Status: Full-Time (.75 or greater)

Hours per Pay Period: Non-Exempt

Starting Wage: DOE

Sign-on Bonus: May be eligible for $15,000

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical patient care by handling instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Understand procedures, anticipate surgeon needs, maintain sterile field.
• Handle pre- and post-operative technical components of surgery.

Essential Job Functions

• Monitor sterile field, respond to surgeon and team needs.
• Handle instruments and equipment properly.
• Identify and respond to intraoperative complications.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use performance improvement principles to enhance patient care quality.
• Set personal growth goals and meet educational requirements.
• Maintain competency in safety standards and organizational policies.
• Support behaviors aligned with Billings Clinic’s mission, values, and standards.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent.

Certifications and Licenses: Liaison Council on Certification for Surgical Technologists preferred; CPR certification at hire.
