Job summary

North Shore Medical Center, Inc. within Mass General Brigham is seeking a dual PCA/Surgical Tech to assist in patient care and surgical activities in the Birthplace under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

This role requires CNA, PCA or Medical Assisting experience. Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required or the certification will be obtained within 12 months of graduation; 1 year of acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior CNA, PCA or Medical Assisting experience required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist or meet education requirements; certification within 12 months of hire/graduation date if not yet obtained.
• 1 year experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and ages.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care and surgical activities in the Birthplace under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Support CNA/PCA and Surgical Tech duties as part of the care team.
• Maintain high concentration and attention to detail in a fast-paced acute care setting.
