Cherry Hill Free Clinic, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist to support intra-operative procedures and maintain a sterile, well-organized environment. The role requires certification and preferably prior experience in a clinical setting.

You will assist surgeons, prepare rooms, manage specimens, and help train new staff while upholding safety protocols and collaboration within the surgical team.

Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist Certification, preferably with prior experience.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, surgical procedures, and teamwork.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures of all ages.
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Practice aseptic techniques and ensure correct surgical site identification.
• Handle specimens, maintain accurate supply counts, and document procedures.
• Assess wounds, change dressings, and anticipate intra-operative needs.
• Clean and organize operating rooms between cases, restock supplies, and monitor inventory.
• Report patient reactions and changes, initiate emergency procedures if needed.
• Train new staff and support team collaboration to ensure quality patient care.
