Job summary

ASC Park Potomac, part of United Surgical Partners International, seeks a Surgical Technologist to scrub for procedures and maintain a sterile field. The role supports the surgical team and ensures proper preparation of supplies, instruments, and equipment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, surgical technician training, and state-certification as required. Experience in ambulatory centers and teamwork are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or Surgical Technician program completed.
• Certification as required by state and/or center
• Experience in ambulatory surgical center preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions
• Strong teamwork and communication to collaborate with staff, patients, and physicians

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field.
• Prepares supplies, instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Supports quality improvement activities within the center.
• Works as a member of the surgical team with physicians and staff.
