Surgical Technologist - 40 Hours - Rotating Shift

Job Summary

Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Responsibilities include preparing the surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies, handing requested instruments and supplies to the surgeon during surgery, assisting with patient preparation, transportation, positioning, and draping, maintaining organized instruments, and monitoring instrument counts throughout procedures. Also, assists surgeons with hemostasis during surgery.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience, OR Associate's degree/Technical degree, OR 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.
• BLS Provider certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Associate's degree in Surgical Technology preferred.
