UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin seeks a Surgical Technologist to join our inpatient surgery team. The role supports OR preparation, assists surgeons in complex procedures, and works within our Level 1 Trauma Center in a fast-paced environment.

Part-time, 90% FTE with day/evening shifts; benefits include a sign-on bonus up to 13,500 (pro-rated), relocation assistance, weekend differential and on-call pay. UW Health offers competitive compensation and employee wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Technologist program is required.
• Two years of Surgical Technologist experience may be considered in lieu of completing a program.
• Basic Life Support/CPR certification within 6 months is required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is preferred.

Work Schedule:

Part-time, 90% FTE, day/evening. Shifts are scheduled between the hours of 7:00am – 7:30pm, weekend, holiday and on-call requirements are required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay:

This position may be eligible for up to a$13,500sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE)

Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Technologist program Required
• Two (2) years of Surgical Technologist experience may be considered in lieu of completion of a Surgical Technologist program

Work Experience

• Completion of a Surgical Technologist program Preferred
• 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist Preferred

  Licenses & Certifications

  • Basic Life Support/CPR certification within 6 months Required
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Preferred
