Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking an Outpatient Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team. The role is full-time, 100% FTE, with day/evening shifts, no weekend or on-call rotations, and a potential sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Technologist program is required.
• Two (2) years of Surgical Technologist experience may be considered in lieu of completion of the program.
• Completion of a Surgical Technologist program is preferred in work experience.
• 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, 100% FTE, day/evening shift. Monday – Friday, rotating 8- and 10-hour shifts. Shifts will be scheduled as: 6:40am – 3:10pm, 6:40am – 5:10pm and 9:10am – 5:40pm. No weekend, holiday or on-call rotation required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay:

This position may be eligible for up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants

Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Technologist program Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Basic Life Support/CPR certification within 6 months Required
