Shift: Shift 1
3 12-hour shifts: 0630 - 1900, with a call rotation. Hiring into our career ladder is based on experience, with various levels available.
As a member of the healthcare team, collaborates with the surgical team to provide patient care, ensuring that patient goals are met and the hospital's mission is fulfilled.
Minimum of 1 year as a Surgical Technologist required. Experience may include Surgical Technician or Surgical Extern roles. Note: Up to 6 months of extern work can count towards the 1-year requirement.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary education, certification, or diploma required, including completion of a Surgical Technologist program, Military Operating Room Specialist course, or Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program.
Certification as a Surgical Technologist required. Staff hired before 8/1/2020 with Level 3 or higher certification are not required to be certified if they meet other criteria. BLS certification from AHA or equivalent must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
