Base pay range

$24.33/hr - $31.30/hr

Additional Information About The Role

• 8 hr days
• Up to a $12,500 Sign-on Bonus
• Expect to be on-call 1 night/week and 1 weekend within a 5 week schedule
• Typical services include: General Surgery, Cardiac, Thoracic, and robotic procedures

Overview

Christian Hospital has been serving St. Louis and the surrounding metro areas since 1903. It is ranked highly for clinical excellence and specializes in geriatrics and common procedures such as heart attack, heart failure, kidney failure, diabetes, COPD, pneumonia, and stroke.

Northwest HealthCare offers 24-hour emergency care, outpatient diagnostic and imaging services, and is located six miles west of Christian Hospital.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs surgical duties under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Prepares operating room, reviews preference cards, obtains supplies, ensures cleanliness, and assists with sterile supplies.
• Performs surgical scrub duties, handles cultures and specimens.
• Turns over rooms, returns supplies, instruments, and equipment to proper locations.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

• No Experience required

• Accredited Surgical Program

Licenses & Certifications

• Surgical Technician certification
