Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Southlake is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to join our ambulatory surgical team. The role emphasizes weekday coverage with no holidays, weekends, nights or on-call requirements, ensuring a predictable schedule.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, Scrub Tech certification, and at least two years' experience across multiple specialties, with ENT/ortho exposure preferred and strong medical terminology knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Scrub Technician Program; certification required.
• Two years experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties or an equivalent combo of education and experience.
• ENT and Orthopedic experience preferred.
• General familiarity with medical terminology related to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room.

Responsibilities

• The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field during operations.
• Prepares supplies, instruments and equipment; supports quality improvement activities.

Surgical Technologist Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Southlake

The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Completion of a Scrub Technician Program. Certification required
• Two years experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• ENT and Ortho experience preferred
• General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room
