Job summary

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI, is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our OR team. You will plan and organize supplies and equipment for procedures, support education of peers, and collaborate with all surgical team members to ensure safe, efficient patient passage through surgery.

Full-time or 1.0 FTE with 80 hours biweekly; day shift with on-call and weekend coverage. Must graduate from a surgical technologist program and hold current BLS; CST certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a surgical technologist program or related OR experience.
• Graduate of a certified surgical technologist program.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Certification as CST beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize supplies, instruments and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Promote education of self, peers and students.
• Collaborate with all surgical team members to assure safe and efficient passage of a patient through surgery.
• Maintain safety and communication standards within the surgical environment.

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital, in Rhinelander, WI, is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our team!

The Surgical Technologist is responsible for planning and organizing supplies, instruments and equipment for surgical procedures. Promotes education of self, peers and students. Collaborates with all surgical team members to assure the safe and efficient passage of a patient through surgery. Responsible for his/her activities that can interact with, collaborate with, cause, or result in an effect or consequence to or with other practitioners in the surgical environment.

Hours: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Day shift, will on-call and weekend coverage.

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of surgical standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from a surgical technologist program or related field and/or three or more years of related experience in the operating room.
• Graduate of a certified surgical technologist program.
• Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist beneficial.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
