The Certified Surgical Technologist I is responsible for preparing sterile supplies and instruments for assigned procedures, maintaining sterile fields during cases, and assisting surgeons with supplies and instruments. The role requires a minimum of 0-1 years’ experience or proficiency in surgical specialties such as General Surgery, Urology, Minor Vascular, GYN, Minor Orthopedics, and Minor Neurosurgery/Neurospine. The technologist should be capable of performing laparoscopic, open, or robotic-assisted cases and demonstrate independence as a primary scrub technician, with the ability to assume roles like camera holder, retractor holder, limb holder, or uterine manipulator in complex cases.
Education, Experience, and Training
