Job summary

Potomac View Surgery Center is hiring a Certified Surgical Tech. The position requires weekdays only with no holidays, weekends, nights or calls.

The Tech scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field while supporting the surgical team. Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED, completion of a Surgical Technician Program, certification in Surgical Technician, and 2+ years of ORTHO experience; ambulatory surgical center experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Tech at Potomac View Surgery Center

The Certified Surgical Techscrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification in Surgical Technician
• Experience 2+ years in ORTHO
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred

Pay Range: Min-$28.96-41.99. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
