Potomac View Surgery Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech. This position requires weekdays only, with no holidays, weekends, nights, or call obligations. The Certified Surgical Tech will assist in surgical procedures, maintain a sterile environment, and prepare necessary supplies.

• 2+ years of experience in orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for surgical procedures and maintain sterile field.
• Prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgery.
• Support quality improvement activities.

Certified Surgical Tech at Potomac View Surgery Center

The Certified Surgical Techscrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification in Surgical Technician
• Experience 2+ years in ORTHO
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred

Pay Range: Min-$28.96-41.99. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
