Job Summary: As a member of the healthcare team, collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patients, ensuring that the goals of the patients are met and the mission of the hospital is carried out.

Experience Requirement: A minimum of 1 year of surgical experience is required. Experience can be in any role as a Surgical Technologist or Surgical Technician.

Education Requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Post-high school education, certification, or diploma is required. Completion of a Surgical Technologist program, Military Operating Room Specialist course, or Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program is required.

Licensure: Certification as a Surgical Technologist. Staff with a Level 3 Surgical Technologist or above, hired before 8/1/2020, are not required to be certified if they meet other criteria. AHA BLS or equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
