For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus for all eligible Surgical Technologists!

Eligibility: Candidates hired into a full-time or part-time Surgical Technologist position are eligible. The bonus amount is prorated for part-time hires. Per diem hires are ineligible.

Additional Eligibility Notes: Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth employees are ineligible until more than 6 months of separation from employment.

Summary: The Surgical Technologist assists the surgeon and Operating Room (OR) RN during surgical procedures.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology required.
2. License/Certifications: Current BCLS and certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required within 6 months of start date. Positions located in New Hampshire require a New Hampshire Med Tech License or NH EMT License with National Registry Certification.
3. Experience: One year of experience preferred.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements: N/A
