For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible Surgical Technologists!

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a full or part-time Surgical Technologist position. Bonus amount is prorated for part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.

Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth members are ineligible until more than 6 months of separation from employment.

Summary:
The Surgical Technologist assists the surgeon and OR RN during surgical procedures.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology required.
2. License/Certifications: Current BCLS and certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required within 6 months of start date. Positions in New Hampshire require a New Hampshire Med Tech License or NH EMT License with National Registry Certification.
3. Experience: One year of experience preferred.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements: N/A
