• Location: Urbana, IL
• Shift: 4x10 Days
• Pay: $1,900 weekly gross

The Surgical Technologist plays a critical role in the operating room by assisting surgeons and ensuring a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment. This position involves preparing operating rooms, handling surgical instruments, and supporting the surgical team before, during, and after procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment
• Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures
• Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and anticipating needs
• Ensure proper handling, counting, and sterilization of surgical tools and materials
• Monitor and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and OR readiness
• Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and anesthesia teams for smooth workflow
• Handle specimens according to protocol and ensure accurate labeling
• Support post‑procedure room turnover and preparation for subsequent surgeries

🎓 Requirements & Certifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Surgical Tech experience
• Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology OR completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• (Certified Surgical Technologist) – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
