Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. operates Advanced Surgical Care of Clearwater, a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center in Clearwater, FL. We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to scrub procedures, maintain a sterile field, and support the surgical team.

You will prepare supplies and equipment, coordinate with physicians and staff, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Surgical Technician Program.
• Certification as required by state and/or center.
• Experience in an ambulatory surgical center preferred.
• Orthopedic and/or ENT experience highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Supports quality improvement activities within the center.

Advanced Surgical Care of Clearwater is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

The Certified Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• completion of a Surgical Technician Program
• Certification as required by state and/or center
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Experienced in Ortho and/or ENT highly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians
