Job summary

Physicians Surgery Center is seeking a Part-Time Certified Surgical Tech to join our ambulatory surgery team. The CST will scrub in for procedures, maintain a sterile field, prepare supplies and equipment, and support the surgical staff and physicians.

We value teamwork, strong communication, and adaptability to changing patient conditions. Prior ambulatory center experience and certification as required by state or center are preferred; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with Surgical Technician Program or equivalent.
• Certification as required by state and/or center.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and patient management.
• Able to collaborate with staff and physicians with clear communication.

Part-Time Certified Surgical Tech

Physicians Surgery Center - A Multispecialty Surgery Center

Physicians Surgery Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Part-Time CST.

Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification as required by state and/or center
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians
