Job summary

Advanced Surgery Center of Sarasota is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our busy ambulatory surgery team. This role supports patients undergoing orthopedic, spine, pain management and podiatry procedures while maintaining aseptic technique.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses and staff to ensure patient safety and efficient operative flow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and Surgical Technician Program or equivalent.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions.
• Teamwork and communication with staff, patients, and physicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians
