Job summary

ForTec Medical in Houston seeks a Clinical Technology Specialist to set up and operate advanced surgical technologies, providing guidance to surgeons and staff before and during procedures. You will perform preoperative checks, sterilization, and documentation, and transport equipment as needed.

Training is provided to build confidence and technical proficiency. A valid US driver's license, flexible schedule, and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule with early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends or overnight travel.
• Professional demeanor and team-oriented mindset.
• Basic computer/smartphone proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate surgical technologies to guide surgeons and staff before and during surgery.
• Perform preoperative checklists, sterilization, equipment calibrations, and documentation.
• Load and transport surgical technologies; driving and occasional overnight travel.
• Practice safe vehicle operation and laser safety techniques.
• Meet customer needs and foster professional relationships with clients and healthcare partners.
