Job summary

ForTec Medical in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Clinical Technology Specialist to support use of advanced surgical technologies and ensure patient safety. You will operate and calibrate equipment, train staff, and collaborate with surgeons on-site.

Travel is required; you will follow safety protocols, maintain documentation, and provide exceptional customer service while building strong professional relationships with healthcare partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with no major violations.
• Ability to push, pull, and manipulate medical equipment over 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekend coverage or overnight travel.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate surgical technologies to provide guidance to surgeons and staff before and during surgery.
• Perform preoperative checklists, sterilization, equipment calibrations, and complete documentation.
• Load and transport surgical technologies to healthcare facilities; driving is required with occasional overnight travel.
• Practice safe vehicle operations and laser safety techniques.
• Meet customer needs, provide excellent service, and maintain professional relationships with ForTec team members and healthcare partners.
